四阶成道

(四階成道, 四阶成道)

(or [lang id =1028]四階成佛) The four Hīnayāna steps for attaining Buddhahood, i. e. the myriad deeds of the three (sa) asaṃkhyeya kalpas; the continually good karma of a hundred great kalpas; in the final body the cutting off of the illusions of the lower eight states; and the taking of one's seat on the (sa) bodhi-plot for final enlightenment, and the cutting off of the thirty-four forms of delusive thought.
